In a snap shot here is how my certification training works: You will have 6 weeks of - Skype - face to face training with me for theory. Then we will take a 2 week break. Next you will have another 6 weeks training with me via Skype for clinical training. For the Skype training you will earn 2 CEU per week or for 12 weeks of Skype Training you will earn a total of 24 CEU.

In addition, you will earn 4 CEU for completing your assignment of 2 Chapters of study per week. For completion of all 12 chapters you will earn 24 CEU. Therefore, the total CEU for (2) Certificates is 48 CEU.

The first 6 weeks you will learn about theory and earn your first Certificate of "CDAT"; once you accomplish this goal you may use the "CDAT" Credential after your name. The second 6 weeks you will learn how to apply the applications and you will earn your second Certificate and may then use the initials of "CDATA" or Advanced Practitioner after your name.

Process at a Glance

1. Fill out the Application located to the right of this screen in the "Menu" List. There you will find the Price and Payment options. Follow the Instructions Carefully, fill out the APPLICATION and e-mail it to me with the pertinent documents.

2. You will be contacted once your credentials have been reviewed.

3. When you are accepted you will be provided access information to 12 training Modules. You may use these Chapters (12) 24 hours a day.

4. You are required to complete 2 Chapters per week. In some cases, you may only have to complete 6 to 8 Chapters. But, full CEU credit will apply. The number of weeks required for your training will vary according to information that you provide during the training sessions and as you present in your portfolio. Next, you will gain access to all 12 Chapters and will have unlimited access to them to study the remaining Chapters at your leisure. Once you complete a Chapter you will be able to print out a CEU Certificate with your name, score and course title on it.

5. You are required to meet with me weekly via Skype for 30 to 45 minutes to discuss you weekly assignments.

The base pay for Cognitive Rehabilitation is $75.00 dollars per hour. Who will hire you once you earn your "CDAT" Certificate? The Del Giacco Neuro Arts Therapy Program that is listed herein, is based in current Neuro Science findings. "Plasticity" is an important development in the field of rehabilitation. The Del Giacco Neuro Art Therapy (DAT) process offers a developmental approach to cognitive rehabilitation. DAT is based heavily in the theory of neuro-regeneration of the primary sensory processing areas of the human brain - these areas are found within the Limbic System. Thus, great caution and assessment are required for its use. Special assessments tools have been designed that serve a duel purpose. First, the client is monitored for an acceptable level of tolerance to the therapeutic stimuli and second to mark the clients re-development process. These assessments are key to the clients recovery process.

Many client's with neurological problems and other forms of thinking difficulties have benefited from DAT. However, each client must be assessed for therapeutic design and implementation.

Here is some of what you will study

• We study the brain and the visual system.
• We study the limbic system and consider the emotional effects of sensory stimulation.
• We study Neuro-Distress and teach the client how to manage their disability.
• We discuss rest, proper diet and the use of vitamins. We do extensive research into the clients history
• We provide specialized assessments.
